NKS Sail Loft was founded in 2016 by Nina Kate Smart. Operating out of Lefkada Greece and the Lake District UK, we are surrounded by the ocean and possess a true passion for all things sailing.
Whether it's boat covers, canvas work, upholstery, or new sails. NKS Sail Loft are on hand to provide you with all your sail/boat needs and more.
With a background in Textile Practice and Surface Design, NKS Sail Loft has pushed the boundaries over the years and challenged the way in which sails are perceived, designed and manufactured. We combine your requirements with our expertise to create design solutions that work for you. We thrive on customer service and will provide you with quality workmanship, prompt turnarounds and competitive pricing.

A self motivated, sail enthusiast specialising in repairs, upholstery and design.
A passion for surface design, smart materials and future applications. Nina is always working with an attentive eye for detail and is focused on achieving the best possible results in all area's within NKS Sail Loft.
beverley anne
Sailcloth & Canvas Technician
With a love for sailing in South West Scotland, the Lakes and the Ionian, Greece.
Beverley enjoys the challenge of a good sail repair. She is also a CAD/Architectural designer and excels when dealing with technical detail.

Sails & Rigging
With over 20 years of sailing experience, Ben is passionate about everything to do with sails. Having raced and sailied on some of the most prestigious yachts around the world, Ben isn't shy when it comes to boat handling.
When Ben isn't out on the ocean he is in helping NKS with all things sails and rigging.
